Camelbak H.A.W.G Review

"The H.A.W.G. is a daypack with a separate compartment for a 3 liter Camelback water bladder. My version, made for the military, has two other compartments with about 1000 cu inches capacity, enough for a shell jacket, rain pants, lunch, and some odds and ends. A very useful pack for hiking when you don't need fishing gear or other activity-necessary things. Good snug fit with a sternum strap and hip belt and the military version has an insulated sleeve for the water tube. Unfortunately when I use it for skiing the water freezes at the valve. I really like the design - works better than hydration pockets - and would like to see Camelbak make a larger version."

"I got this backpack about a year ago on sale for $50. That was a steal. I use this pack for everything mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, backpacking, and everything inbetween. It has enough room to hold 2 days worth of stuff and more. I would recommend this pack to anyone that packs light. It is a great buy."

"This pack is great for mountain biking, hiking, or day trips. It's got just the right amount of space to keep me from taking unecessary stuff, but plenty for everything that I really need. This thing literally hugs your back and built of the finest materials to keep your back cool and free from pain."
