"I really like this pack. Three is a kitchen organizer attached to it. It is external frame, is extremely comfortable and designed for individual tastes. It is also very affordable."

"Ths is a terrific backpack. I
have made adjustments on trips
based on load or terrain because
it is simply but thoughtfully
designed. The "kitchen organier"
is a fantastic addition. Get
one. The price is good."

"I bought the Camptrails Wilderness a couple months ago, and have used it 3 times for a total of 7-8 days, with loads between 50 and 65 pounds (22-30 kilos).I am still experimenting with different load confiurations, but all-in-all I think I am going to like it. It seems well built, and all the external pockets help me stay organized."

"I have carried my camp trails wilderness through 70 miles of the Grand Canyon and climbed through most of Big Bend, fully loaded (~70lbs). It held up great but eventually I broke some buckels. Johnson Outdoors stood by the warranty and promptly repaired and replaced everything. A GREAT pack at a reasonable price."

"I bought an external frame Wilderness in '93 and used it for warm weather 2-3 day hikes in Montana and on the Gulf Coast. It handled 70+ lb. loads easily. I bought the internal frame in '98 for a winter hike on the AT in the Smokies. Broke a zipper tab on that 4 day trip (my fault, overstuffed the lower compartment). All in all a great pack for the money. Once adjusted properly they both carry anything you can put in or attach to them. The kitchen sink organizer is great for stashing any small item, not just cooking stuff. Get one!"
