Dana Design Alpine Overkill Review

"In a word, sweeeeet. I've had this pack now for 2 seasons, having picked it up on sale (this beauty was built in the US, before Dana moved production abroad) I also have a 94 Terraplane, another superb pack, but actually now favor the Alpine. The integral shovit panel extends the pack's overall load utility making carrying a camera tripod, snowboard or whatever, a snap. The 1000 cordura construction makes this a heavier pack, but the increased durability is worth it."

"I found this particularly pack to be very comfortable. I borrowed it from a friend to use during a extended trip in Colorado.(the Valecito Trail was excellent before it burned down.) The waist strap was awesome, previous packs would rub on my hip bones. Now I have my own, and would recomend it to anyone.
