"Frankly, I'm surprised these packs aren't more popular. They have the same great suspension system as the famous Terraplanes, hybrid access (really handy at lunch time), and a huge shovel pocket to boot. I've talked to a lot of people who hate the shovel pocket, but it's the best way to dry off a tent fly in the morning, makes changing layers easy, and increases your potential volume to huge proportions. The pack seems to cut loads in half and is more functional than a swiss army knife. Add a wet rib for the water bottle (death to bladders!) and whatever little goodies you want handy and you've got the perfect pack."
