"I use this for BC skiing and day hikes. Works well - plenty of storage options, gear loops, etc. The side pockets are deep and roomy for versatility as well (e.g. skins or extra water) Also a plus: the way it sits does make it very stable for dynamics like skiing or running. Only two things I would have added to the design: a stable top surface with loops to carry gear on top and a cross-carry ski system in addition to the a-frame loops that it has."

"I have had this pack for at least 11 years (if not a few more). I carried it all through college and grad school, and over the years it's been to 24 countries. And finally, after intense daily use, a small split has developed in the back padding. I am thrilled that I can still purchase the same pack! I will be buying my second. The front compression area is great for stuffing a jacket/sweater for on the plane and Sigg bottles fit perfectly in the side pockets."
