"if you are looking to go light the aether 60 is the right pack for you, the guys at osprey said the pack is at its best at 35lbs I SAY NOT I loaded my pack down with fifty pounds once I put the pack on and straped in 50 pounds felt like 35pounds the pack just stuck on my back it moved with me not against me what a hip belt by looking at it you would think it would not hold up but that is not the case, sweeeet the shoulder straps are thin but you would not known it even with 50 pounds!! at the end of a ten mile day I felt great. my plan was not to go heavy but i put a lot of my wifes gear in the pack [bad knee] and at 3900 cubic inches their is plenty of room just use your head when you pack for 199.00 this pack is well worth it!!! so i am asking myself why did i ever buy the arcteryx bora 80, the 80 is a good well built pack but i think its going to get a lot of dust on it."
