"I have made two hikes now with my Osprey Xenith Pro
one of 32 miles and the other a 40 mile hike in the Appilachian
Mountains. I love the Xenith, I carried over 60 pounds on both
trips with room to spare, which is how I like to pack. The pack
handled the load so well I walked each day with absolutely no
discomfort. The hip belt and shoulder harnesses were wonderful.
Quality is second to none. This is not my first pack, I sold a
Dana Terreplane to get this one, and I never looked back."
"I have used the Xenith Pro for two seasons now and find it to be a very good pack. The suspension/harness work great for me. They are comfortable and not overly bulky. I have carried it full (~7000 ci./60+ lbs.) as well as compressed(~4500 ci./33 lbs.) and it handled both with ease. If you can pick one up used (Osprey has changed their entire line so it is discontinued) it will be well worth your money. The pack itself is heavy (7+ lbs.) so if you will never use it near its max. capacity I would suggest finding something lighter/smaller."
"This pack fits like a glove. It is big enough for the coldest conditions, and the vector compression options make for a wide range of versatility.
Did I say it fits like a glove? This pack has an impressive suspension that once it is properly fitted, you can close your eyes and feel virtually zero pressure points.
I wouldn't pay the full price though...find a sale!"
