"Great pack for the weight. Rated for 40 lbs. I have packed 44 and it worked, but shoulders hurt and the suspension slipped a bit.
Below 37 lbs this pack is very comfortable and below 30 lbs. it feels like you are carrying half the actual weight.
I love the hip-belt pockets. I keep my snacks in one and my GPS/map/compass in the other...with room to spare.
The other mesh pockets, loops, and straps are extremely versatile and functional. I carry a 2L Platypus in the water bladder pocket. Works great for me.
My model has a built in silnylon rain cover, but I am not sure that is still available"
