"The Nova Lite is a mid-weight suede and fabric hiking boot with EVA midsole and steel shank. It comes without the usual Goretex liner. I found the boot to be cool and comfortable for desert hiking with little or no break-in needed. With the extra support of the steel shank it does well for hiking or light backpacking, and the carbon rubber outsole grips loose rock well."
