"Everyone seems to rave about these boots, and indeed they do have their plus points. For one, they're comfortable straight out of the box. For two, they're pretty waterproof. Sadly though, and probably as a result of the first point, the soft leather stretches like crazy. The result for me was that after a year or so they were like boats - even Superfeet didn't help too much. Effective remedy was to ditch them and buy a pair of Sportiva Makalus."

"I have found these boots to be the best buy I have made. They are comfortable durable and excellant with crampons. Mine are used reqularly and have proven to last and take everything thrown at them over the last couple of years.
