"The best boots, as long as you buy them for what they are: Re-engineered moccasins. They are the most comfortable hikers that I have ever known, but you need to waterproof them. You can pop them on in the morning for a hike in two seconds or less."

"I bought them because they're the most comfortable hiking shoes I've ever tried on and very easy to slip on. The quick-lacing system is very handy, but harder to fit as tight as regular laces. On several occasions I've stepped out of the shoe when walking through mud. The sole doesn't come up as high on the newer model, so it leaks water very easily. Breathability is poor, almost as bad as wearing a gore-tex hiker. All in all, a wonderful shoe for walking around town, but terrible if you plan to use it for hiking."

"I bought these shoes because i wanted to use them for mountain biking. I was sick of having the laces get caught in the chain. they work great as both a mt biking shoe and a light hiker. They don't stay on my feet as well as id like, but for light hikes without any weight on my back there decent"

"so i bought these boots wanting a good looking, comfortable, quick laceing boot. what i didn't realize was that two pairs with in three days started to peel on the tip of the toe.... awesome, comfortable shoe.... but not built the best... i don't know anyone who had any last more than 3 months... and costumer service is crappy"
