Merrell Long Trail Goretex Review

"Do not buy these boots. I got them on sale for $100, which was a great deal until the soles started coming off at the toe after a few months. My cobbler did a job he didn't think would last--it didn't. Then Merrell fixed them--lasted a month or two. Finally, out of desperation, I tried the mighty Shoe Goo 2. Well, these are some tough boots. They resisted all forms of repair. So now Merrell is sending me different boot. I did like them while the soles were on. They kept me totally dry and were pretty comfortable too. But why bother with them? I hope this new pair will give me a better opinion of Merrell quality."
