"It took a while, but once broken in, I've grown to love these
boots. Couloirs are great for extended trips with heavy loads, and
are well-suited for mountaineering. They include full-length steel
shanks, rugged skywalk soles, a gussetted tongue, and very few
seams. They're a little heavy (4.5 lbs.) and cost about $225, but I
feel that they're worth it. With some care, they should last for
many years. years."
