"Yes, that's right, I bought these boots at PaylessShoeSource and at $22.95 they're a bargain. They are very durable and very comfortable (with some good extra cushioning insoles like Dr. Scholl's Super Sports).
I've used them on week-long backpacking trips ( carrying a 50+ lb. pack) in the rugged Eastern Sierra Nevada and Olympic National Park. The aggressive deep-lug sole and prominent heel provide very good up and downhill traction. They also worked well with crampons and snowshoes (I've used them with both). The generous collar padding and durable metal D-ring lace loops are other good features. If you foresee the possibility of having to dunk your feet (i.e. fording a stream) be sure to wear a synthetic /wool sock combo as these boots have a free tongue and will allow some water to get in if not laced tightly.
All in all, a great value."
