"certainly the most comfortable boots i ever had. nice rolling system and excellent ankle support and assambling quality.
but, they broke within 2 weeks. weakest part of the boot is a rubber tongue, which fell apart. if you like Raichle, take a model which is constructed without a rubber tongue - it definitely will last much longer."
"After trying ten pairs of boots in the last year, FINALLY(!) a boot that fits like a glove and can be laced tight and straight to the top without lacing "systems," instep or ankle issues. The pain I have experienced in the ankles due to the blunter tongue edges on other big name boots has been worse than torture. The long tapered edge on the tongue of the Mt. Crest is luxurious by comparison. (As an aside, REI also offers a version of this boot, with their logo, but made by Raichle). Regrettably Raichle products seem difficult to acquire in the US. Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase."
