Salomon Authentic 6 GTX Review

"Bought these boots a week or so before a 10 day trip with 60 lb. backpacks. I bought them based on a recommendation in Outside Magazine. Salomon lived up to it's reputation of making boots that are immediately comfortable. Not a single foot problem over the 10 days. Contragrip soles were excellent on slippery rocks. Goretex liner came in very handy in swamps and shalllow streams. I'm more than pleased with how these boots performed."
