Sorel Jackhammer (Bittersweet) Review
Reviews

"First of these are marketed as work boots but I found a great deal on them and needed some new hikers. Positives: Sturdy double stitch construction, insole is very cushy, waterproof, Excellent traction even on wet rocks, quality eyelets with quick release at the top of the boot. Negatives: Long break-in period. I put about 14 miles on them before they were comfortable, very stiff out of the box. Along with this they are steel toe and my big toe began to rub during the break-in. The lugs could be a little deeper. All that said I would recommend these babies for basic 3 season hiking, a good quality boot."
