"I've had my High Peaks Parka for 5 years and from my experience, I'd steer anyone clear of this coat. The laminate on the inside started peeling off after a year and a half and when I sent it in, they said it was out of warrantee. I've tried a number of the different waterproofings available for this type of parka to try and stretch its useful life, but they've been marginally effective in keeping the rain and snow out. Seams have come apart and the zipper doesn't work anymore. I guess you get what you pay for!"

"I received this jacket for a present just three weeks ago and have taken on some of the worst storms that I have every been in. This jacket keep me dry and comfortable. My tent leaked that night, therefore I had to sleep in this jacket in a frozen sleeping bag. The jacket is made of taslan nylon, I didn't think that it would be all that durable, but I soon found out that it packs a big punch. It uses Campmor CAMP-TEC waterproof breatheable lining to keep you dry and comfortable. I had an old North Face Mountain Light Jacket that I grew out of. When I got the Campmor jacket that it was a piece of crap but I was really wrong. This jacket is highly recommended!!!"
