Eider Serenity Ski Jacket Review

"Eider,a French company just now introducing its products in North America, makes clothing for high-altitude mountaineering (like Everest) and ordinary snowsport recreation. High quality fabrics and construction, and some novel features, some very clever (a string with an eyeglasses cleaner attached inside one pocket; an inside pocket for the hood when not needed; separate arm liner with powder cuff; detachable collar) and some questionable (I was especially annoyed with the pockets being too high). European manufacture and high quality equal high prices. In fact, VERY high prices. I wouldn't have purchased mine at list (about $575)."
