"I live in the Pacific Northwest and this jacket is the best purchase you could make for our renown wet weather. Top performance is achieved while layering. It traps your body heat very efficiently and does a great job at repeling water and wind. The fit is precise with 10 pointed articulated arms and great designed hood. Two one litre water bottle holders are located on the inside against your chest but out of the way of straps, to me this proves the companies commitment to expedition use. My jacket is the 98 model and they have changed for 2000, I personily do not like the new 'street'look that The North Face is going for. Lokk at the new Arc'Teryx jackets."
