Woolrich Jac-Shirt Review

"After using fleece, down, and Gore Tex, my favorite piece of cool weather clothing is now a square-tailed medium weight wool shirt with a shoulder yoke, two chest pockets, and slash pockets in the front. It's breathable, warm when wet, and bug-proof.

It's a bit bulkier/heavier than my fleece products, but it has never let me down. I wear it over one of those black Smart Wool t-shirts(also wool) that this otherwise intelligent company discontinued."

"amen to the last review. I have backpacked, ice climbed, hunted, worked, hiked etc etc., the bottom line is that wool works and continues to work the best.
I still utilize fleece wear in concert with my wool clothing to allow for quicker transport of moisture. Wear wool. Oh, last point, the hard shell rough exterior wool looks good but, try to find new wool or virgin wool instead. It is lighter, for thermal effective."
