"Okay, okay...I know...by ultra-lite standards, if you don't absolutely need it, don't take it. But I have to say, between my Therm-a-rest LE 3/4 and my Therm-a-rest chair (the lightweight one) I've never been more comfortable in camp. My son gives me grief for carrying them (hey, I remember when I was 18 and sleeping on a 1/4" closed cell pad, but my old bod just ain't havin' it now), but I'm holding out on these two luxuries.

Only slight drawback...I'm kinda a big guy (about 6' & 230 lbs) and I think I'm testing the limit of the chair's capacity. For the most part it's fine, but sometimes when I lean back it starts to shift and buckle a bit. My ultra-lite friend (her, not the load she carries) has none of these issues with hers, so it's probably just the price I pay for eating a few too many hamburgers at the end of the trail...and the start of the trail...and in between trails..."

"A great camp chair. This is basically a nylon sleeve into which your thermarest fits. Similar to other folding cmap chairs with a couple of diagonal webbing supports that are adjustable, but with 4 aluminum stays that help the chair retain it's shape. A very sturdy chair. Very comfortable to just sit by the campfire and rock back."
