"Yeah I know nothing beats basic orienteering but its a great toy.
No matter where you go in the woods it can get you back to the
starting point. It has six different navigation screens you can use to
find your way. You can store a buch of routes with numerous
waypoints for trail following. It runs around $200 but its a great
toy and most backpackers I know are gimmick and toy freaks.
