"Usually I love Marmot's products, but after I bought the coldest rated Windstoppers for my daughter and myself for our dog sledding trek to Minnesota, I am not so enthusiastic. In fact, I had to purchase large mittens from the trail supplier on our arrival as the Windstopper didn't protect our hands for even one afternoon! Maybe ok for walking out to the car, or shoveling snow. For other activities, I'd go with Scott brand. Much better in damp conditions than the Marnmot."

"these gloves are excellent for cool dry weather. I've used the for
several backpaking trips, mountain biking, as well as everyday use. They look and feel great. The Windstopper membrane really is worth the extra $25."
