"I bought these trekking poles about 4 years ago, and they are hands down the most overlooked, taken for granted, best piece of gear I own. They have; held my body weight numerous times up climbs during the best and worst conditions, helped me ford rivers and creeks with ease, enabled me to reach for bear bags, or things that fell in the water, acted as tent and tarp poles, hold my pack up during breaks, been utilized as a fire poker, potential animal weapon, etc. I've used them snowshoeing, peak bagging, trekking, you name it, and they have held up like a champ. I abuse them, knocked them on trees, rocks, etc., and have yet to need to repair or replace them. The customer service for the poles is also amazing. I needed winter baskets, abd my local gear store didn't carry any. When I called MSR, I was delighted to find a FREE pair of winter baskets in the mail later that week.

They are manufatured by Gable, under the MSR name, and I HIGHLY reccomend them."
