"My wife and I just purchased a Bakepacker Ultralight for a trip planned to Isle Royale. We've been experimenting with it by trying out different recipe types and I must say that I'm am most impressed with it. The product is basically a grid work of light aluminum which fits in side a backpacking pot. You place about 1" of H2O in the pot mix your recipe inside a plastic bag and place it upon the grid. As the water boils it bakes the mix inside the bag. The system is almost idiot proof (it is impossible to burn whatever you are baking as long as there is water in the pot, (much easier to use than my outback oven!)) and weighs almost nothing. The Bakepacker comes with a recipe book or you can use just about any recipe you yourself may have (with some modification, of course). The bakepacker is reasonably priced at $15 and is well worth the place it takes up in your pack."
