"A very well made mummy bag at an affordable price ($180 on sale!). This sucker is warm! (-30F rating). I even had to sleep with it partly open in mid fall on Mt Washington. It has both the usual insulated hood and a wind collar. It also has dual baffled zippers, a box foot space, and baffled construction.
The only down (no pun intended) side to this bag is that it is not a down bag. It is made of Primaloft 2 which is a great insulator but for a -30 bag can make it heavy (approx 5 lbs). I don't mind the extra weight though when I get into it on a subzero night.
It is also a bit tight around my shoulders when fully zipped but my shoudlers are extra wide so I don't think others would have that problem."
