"This bag is light, about 2 lbs for the 40 degree layer. It compresses nicely but is still roomy enough, even for people with a little extra girth like me. The removable top layer can be used like a quilt for those really balmy nights. I also liked the padding around the head. There was enough to use as a pillow."
