"a lovely bag. the stretch feature successfully allows for freedom of movement and eliminates gaps and cold spots.

a few extra features that put this bag above its competitors: fleece lined head opening; super light-weight, even with very durable 2-way zippers and packcloth draft tube; drawcords for head and chin are not only color-coded but are also different shapes (one flat cord, the other round) so adjustments in the dark are simplified.

i tend to be a warm sleeper, so perhaps this is no surprise -- i have found its +35 rating to be more than adequate."

"I'll second that. This is a great bag: lightweight, packs pretty small, fleece liner, a flex feature that really works. I liked it so much, I went out and bought a Sierra Design Light Year tent to go with it!"

"I've had my forty winks about two and one half years. It has been an all round good bag. I sleep average to warm and it is adequate to about 30 degrees for me. It is a decent weight for a non down bag rated for 35 degrees. I like it more due to the deal I received from Campmor on close out. The current models are $60 more than I paid and they are slightly heavier. I have never been disappointed with this sleeping bag."

"This has been a great bag for summer trips into the White Mts of NH. Lightweight but warm enough to handle chilly nights. For me the top features are the lining material, not as cold to the touch as taffeta; the flex feature; and the straps that wrap around a sleeping pad. No more sliding off the pad over night!"

"I've had my Forty Winks for almost 2 years. I echo the previous reviewers' opinions. This is a good 3-season sleeping bag. I also sleep average to warm and found this bag adequate to below freezing. In fact, I removed clothing in the middle of the night I was so warm. For summer use, I open it up and use it as a blanket I love its light weight compared to other synthetic bags and it is more than adequately compressible for packing. I tend to be claustrophobic, but that is no problem with this bag with its flex design. I was so impressed with mine that I bought one for my teenage son! I will definitely by from Sierra Designs again!"
