"An excellent mummy style bag with 3 intelligent compromises:
1)Modern sythetic fill - heavier than down but retains heat well when wet. Great for kayaks and canoes. Bag can be ordered in several sizes and fills. My 350's measured weight is 2.4 lbs.
2) While my girlfriend's Marmot Hydrogen is a warm puffy dream to sleep in, the Woods Canada City Lite 350 is also a very well made bag especially for its modest price: about $70 delivered. Lots of good adjustments for ventilation and around hood.
3) Personally found it very comfortable to 35F.

We live in Arizona where our weather is often mild, so a lightweight bag with less-than-superb insulation is fine. Our spiky plants have built-in seam rippers; desert camping can shred delicate gear. The City Lite 350 has proven itself very tough.

Half our state is above 4,000. Once caught by a snow storm, I wore layers of clothing as was fine. Heading into high country in winter, I brought along a sleep sack (another pound) as a liner and was comfy in the Woods Canada 350 down to 7 F.
