"We originally purchased this stove because of it’s small size and weight. It boiled water at our home in well under four minutes, but seemed to take longer on the trail. However not knowing how much fuel was left in the butane/propane canister left both my wife and I uncomfortable about using this stove for anything other than a dayhike. In addition, the stove is only stable on a flat level surface, such as a table with little to no wind.

In addition, we were only able to find the fuel canisters at one retail location near our home. We are now strongly considering the Primus Multi-Fuel stove as a replacement because it will use just about any fuel type (white fuel, gas, kerosene, aviation kerosene, diesel, etc), including the butane/propane canisters."
