"Primus stoves like the Powercooker, Yellowstone, and Techno illustrate the KISS principle - keep it simple, stupid. Tiny, lightweight, inexpensive, just screw in the cannister and push the switch. I'm not a backcountry gourmet and usually take a stove only for hot drinks so I don't worry much about skillets falling off. The only product that surpasses this is the new Jetboil, which costs three times as much and really only works foer one person. With a Primus you're cooking with history - Shackleton used them on his famous escape from the Antarctic in 1916. That's how long they've been used and appreciated."
