"After finding a source for "new" (yes New)! Optimus 8R Stove and the $100.oo price tag, I thought I'd try the Russian copy (New) at $39.95.
I'll be darned if it isn't an exact copy of the Optimus 8R!
Only differece is the Optimus priming pump won't fit this one. Never used it anyway.
The flame adjuster gasket was installed way too tight but that was an easy fix.
Took it out, turned it around and didn't "reef" it back in. Just enough to make a sure seal. Tank is steel and heavy duty. I'm very pleased. Burns and operates the same as the Optimus. Steel clamshell case.
I'm a happy camper."
