"I recently returned from a trip to the Smokey Mountains where I had the first opportunity to use the Snow Peak Giga Power stove. This stove worked flawlessly and lighted after the first push of the Piezo. I was used mainly for heating water for coffee and oatmeal at breakfast. The boil time was very short and a wind screen definitely helps even in the summer. I ahve purchased two sizes of canisters, a small one for backpacking trips and a larger one for car campsites. The whole outfit is very light and compact."

"I have this stove also. I love it. It's so lightweight (only 4 ounces and if you get titanium, 3 ounces). Good, strong flame (I think 10,000 BTU's). Of course, because of it's size, it is a little less sturdy, but the weight savings more than make up for it. I'd recommend it to anyone."

"I have the Ti version of this stove. Last weekend at 5800' and 45 degrees this boiled 2 cups in 3 min, 30 sec. Made water for 3 meals and 2 drinks (10 cups) and only used 1.2 oz of fuel.
Compared to the previous Pocket Rocket, I like the pot stability more and the Piezo start means no more matches/lighter to deal with (but carry just in case)."

"This stove is simply awesome!
Light weight and compact. If you dont have their cookset you can easily fit this in any crack in your pack to make use of all space. The Auto start has worked on the first try for me even in the windiest conditions. Pay the extra $10 for the Auto stove, it is well worth it."

"I bought this stove in preparation for a 21-day trek on the John Muir Trail. My partner was in complete envy of the stove. It worked flawlessly and quickly. I didn't have any problems with stability. It also has nice touch of changing flame to simmer if needed. The only con was one night it went down to 10 degrees and I had difficulty firing up the stove initially in the morning because I had left the canister outside. You can easily solve this problem easily by simply storing canister in your tent where it's warmer. All other times it performed exceptionally."
