"Now called the Optimus Climber, my Svea 123R sees ~10hrs.operation per week.for 44 weeks a year (-25 to + 80 F) for the past 4 yrs.-not ONE failure; it's been stomped on, dropped in a lake for 20mins.,bent back into shape, dried & fired up-the only stove close in terms of durability is the Optimus Explorer 11; everything the Svea needs is on it-including enough fuel for a couple hot meals with coffee in the built in tank."

"Purchased mine around 1970's? Still works like new and have used it as a tent heater in extremes. Got my money's worth, I think."
