"I think the tent is for speciality mountaineering, such as for high altitude winter condition camping. I used the tent for all around backpacking in various remote areas in Wyoming, and Montana. I am tall, 6'2" and found the tent too short, although it is wide enough for me and my gear along side my sleeping bag.
I cannot claim that it ventilates well at all, so using it when temps go above 50F at night are uncomfortable.
The tent condensates heavily, when the air is cool and moist, the water collects on the poles that are located on the inside of the tent and runs down the lengths forming puddles in the corners.
I sold mine since I felt it put me in jeapordy several times under these conditions, and I use a down bag. I was very angry that spending so much on a "bomber tent" was of no benefit. I am back using a 2 walled tent and have extra $ for other gear as a result.

Its a great backcountry skiing/snowshoeing tent, but should be left for just that.

"That's why it's called a "mountaineering" tent.
It's for...Mountaineering.
Bad ass tent for anyone wanting to go high and cold and not carry a ton of extra weight (cough, cough, trango, cough).
Best used in dry cold."
