Equinox 8 x 10 sil-nylon tarp Review

"We used one of these in Michigan for a trip and it was pouring down rain all day. Several of us sat underneath it and cooked dinner and talked all night and we stayed dry as a bone. It weighs 13 ounces and it packs up very small. I have no complaints on this product at all."

"I have used one of these tarps on several trips as both my primary shelter(combined with an OR Bug Bivy) and as a group shelter. I have 0 complaints. I have never had a leak problem even though I have never sealed the main seam. I was concerned about having the grommets instead of webbing but I have never had a problem. If it is really windy I just lower it closer to the ground.
At 13oz's I find myself carrying it as a backup or just in case shelter on day trips and trips to shelters.
This tarp has really lightened my load. I am going to buy a smaller one soon."
