"Great tent to have. I have been backpacking for 13 years and have gone through several tents. The Apex 3XTA offers plenty of room to work around in. Also the weight of the tent is great for its size for those that are weight concious. I have had the tent out on the trail so far in Rain, heavier winds, and shine. It has not leaked, blew to peices, or shown much wear to the sun. All in all it is a good sturdy tent at a reasonable price."

"I Think in general it's a good tent. Fast setup. Plenty of space and good temperature. I have used it in extreme rain conditions and at first it had a small leak but with a quick adjust in one corner it stoped. The only problem is that there are some leaks in the vestibles but it's not bad. The only problem is when it's raining tons and you want to get into the tent without get wet inside. But In general i think it´s a great tent."

"We bought 4 of these tents to use for guiding kids in the backcountry. They are OK in weight, and the setup is very easy. The fly has two buckles and two velcro attachments so it is easy to set up correctly. The tents have plenty of room inside for 3 people if you aren't keeping your packs inside. We've used these tents at altitude and ran into some heavy winds ~50mph or so. With all points guyed out the tents held up ok. There was a lot of flex in the poles and that would be my only major complaint. The poles are weak and were bent up pretty bad after the windstorm and the abuse they took from the kids. A couple of the poles cracked and the connection between pole sections came unglued and turned into a problem.

Overall this is a decent tent for those on a budget"
