"At first glance this tent seemed like the low budget shelter I was looking for too get me off a plastice tarp and into some kind of bug free shelter. The size and weight of this tent is amazing. A little larger than a tennis shoe and the poles are very short, little longer that a foot collapsed. The whole package is around 3 pounds or less. The first time setting it up was a bit of a pain though. The poles are a bit to long and do not fit into the pole pockets perfectly without a large, scary amount of force. This is only bad the first few times setting up and can be prevented by putting the ends in the pockets first, then putting the poles together. The rest of setup is a breeze. Just stake out the floor and the guy lines, presto up in a minute or two. This tent is not much for room but did fit me, my pack and my dog. A little close but no complaints. This tent is has taped seems but really needs some camp dry before going into the field. It has a very large door that makes it easy to get in and out of. There is one small window that needs to be bigger and can only be opened/closed from the outside. This is my complaint/ feature I do not like. The no see um mesh on the main door is nice and as big as the door to allow proper venting. I did have a small problem with condensation, because I had all venting blocked all night. Other than the pole fitment and the cheap "flexible aluminum" stakes this tent is a great deal at $25.00 and sure beats a tarp or two and weighs the same or less. The quality is decent but will require some care to make it last through a few seasons. This tent will definately be with me on all my solo overnighters but if I am out for any more than 2 days the extra pound and a half for my Rokk Minimalist tent is worth the room that you just can't seem to find in this small tent. P.S. This tent is perfect for mountain biking and those who like hammocks, it is only a little bigger that my byer traveler hammock!"
