"Overall, this is a great tent. On the plus size - lots of room, no-see-um netting on front back and sides, bathtub floor available, very lightweight, reasonably priced, front beak design offers many options for coverage. On the minus side - prone to condensation (single wall tent), front guy-out obstructs entry, and front beak could be longer.
Plenty of room for two and their gear. All your gear will fit either inside or under the front vestibule, so no need for anything to get wet. I use this tent for myself and I can fit myself and every bit of my gear inside this tent without any of it even touching the sides! When raining, I can sit up in front of the tent and cook under the vestibule by opening up the front netting. The no-see-um netting is great since I do most of my backpacking in Florida. The sides of this tent can roll up for a little more airflow, or keep all the way down for keeping the inside dry during rain. I used this tent once during some pretty intense rain and stayed totally dry inside, not a drop of water appeared anywhere inside this tent (aside from the condensation). This tent packs up light and small so it takes up little room in my pack. There are two lightweight shock-corded poles and I use 6 stakes, although you could get away with just 4. I use the additional two on the sides. This tent is very stable in wind as well. Although not cheap, this tent is reasonably priced.
On the down side the front guy out is quite annoying. The front guy-out is attached smack dab in the middle of the beak, so the entry to the tent is obstructed. The new Cloudburst 2 has been redesigned in this respect, though and doesn't have this problem. Also, since this is a single wall tent, there is the problem of condensation. I keep a camp towel by my side and each time I wake up during the night I wipe part of the ceiling and sides down. Because this tent is so large, even with two inside, the condensation is not nearly the problem it could be. I have never gotten wet from the condensation, nor has any of my gear been wetted down. Also, there are many techniques you can use to minimize the condensation - set up under a tree, at highest possible elevation, point into the wind, roll up the beak and open the netting (weather and bug permitting!). The other problem I experience with the front beak is that I would prefer for it to be a little longer for just a little more privacy.
All in all, this is a great tent. The light weight and all that room make me feel like I'm really living in luxury out on the trail. I highly recommend this tent, especially the new improved design of the Cloudburst 2 which totally eliminates the obstruction at the entrance."
