"Just spent a week in the Kia in Upper Michigan--second trip with the tent. We were car camping. It held up well to 6 hour down-pour and several days of nasty winds (trees were falling).
It would easily fit 3 people. With three people I think it is do-able weight-wise for backpacking.
It is easy to set up and take down. Ventilation is good. Lots of pockets and storage areas.
Downsides are the front-door zippers--there are two. If you don't open the bottom zipper first, the upper-arching zipper is difficult to open. Also, the vestibule is attached to the rain fly and slants downward--which is good in the rain, but makes it a little awkward in getting in and out.
I would rate this tent a B+"
