SteriPEN Classic Review

"I recently purchased a SteriPEN Classic water purifier, and used it for a week in the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness (MT). It is an incredible device. Total weight with 4-AA batteries and the optional prefilter screen is just over 8 ounces. For clear water, it's the only way to go. You can treat a liter of water in 90 seconds, every time. I was part of a 12-person backpacking trip, and by then end of the week, everyone wanted information on how to purchase one. Instructions say it won't work as well in cloudy water, but that wasn't an issue in the Beartooths."
