"We recently did a hiking trek thru the Yukon and parts of Alaska and took with us this new product called SteriPEN - LOVED IT. This water purification tool takes only seconds to purify water (we had 1 L bottles - actually come in a package with the SteriPEN.) We also loved the solar battery recharger - we didn't have to worry about batteries.
This purifier is based on the UV light theory (sorry but I'mnot a techie) but it was fantastic - light to carry and very simple to use - amazing.
