Description
Four of us attempted this hike in Feb,03. We were not in the best shape, and our packs were too heavy....it was hell. But it was awesome. We started with the Athens/Big Fork trail which goes over 9 moutains I think. There was about 5 inches of snow on the ground, so every step forward slid half a step back. It took us 2 days to do the first 8 miles!! That really threw our timetable off, so we weren\'t able to complete the loop. We\'ll be much better prepared when we make our 2nd attempt in Feb,04. Totally awesome and beautiful hike.
