Eagle Rock Loop
This is a challenging hike for the beginner to moderate hiker. I would recommed that you be in fairly good shape to do this trail. However, the views are incredable, expecially in the fall when the leaves are turning. I would reccommend doing it over 3 days so that you have time to soak in all that the area has to offer. The Athens-Big Fork train is by far the hardest part of the trail because you top several small mountains during the day. I would reccommend wearing bug repellant, as there are many ticks along the trail. Also, Goretex boots are a must as there are several creek and stream crossings.
