"This shelter is relatively new and affords views to the north from the shelter itself. There is a reliable water source. Moosilauke is one of the great eastern mountains and should be enjoyed."

"No views for me, as I arrived at dusk in drizzle and awoke in fog. Shelter was comfortable but the roof overhang isn't quite enough to keep you dry as you cook. Some limited tent sites that were all full on a weekend in mid-September. Composting privy on access trail that was full-to-overflowing."
