Description
Several lakes, ROCKS ROCKS ROCKS (red-rock, fools gold, quartz), BEAUTIFUL VIEW, above snow-line, wild flowers, prairie dogs. Two gold gold mines, and a couple fallen down ROCK houses from gold-mining era.

Directions to Hike
Most north-eastern trail-head in Yosemite. Just inside park from East Tioga Road Entrance. Day hike only. Continue up trail, going toward a HIGH west-ward pass (10,300ft) to see some of the hidden lakes, and get a better view.
