Description
Start at the east portal of the famed Moffat railroad tunnel and hike along South Boulder Creek 5 miles through dense forest and alpine tundra as you gain 2100 feet in elevation.

Directions to Hike
Take Colorado 72 or 119 to Rollinsville and turn west on dirt road toward Moffat tunnel. Drive approx. 8.1 miles to east portal and park in extensive lot. Trail starts across tracks and bridge to the southwest.
