Description
This hike is fairly rocky with some climbing necessary. Some parts are steep, but not too difficult. The trail follows a stream up the mountain with waterfalls scattered throughout. It is very scenic (espcially during the changing of the aspen) and with Colorado's mild weather, is a very pleasant hike. The awesome view at the top is worth every ounce of effort. This is a great family hike! No strollers, dogs, bikes or horses allowed on this hike.

Directions to Hike
I-70 in western part of the state. Glenwood Springs sits between Avon and Grand Junction. East of Glenwood Springs there is a brown sign indicating the "Hanging Lake" exit. I believe it's #231 (but not exactly sure).
