Description
Several miles of trails. One loop takes you through Vickery Creek Gorge, as you climb on high cliffs. Another loop takes you through isolated forest, ocassionally passing by a building, house, or apartment. The trail also passes the Roswell Dam and a bridge, where young kids can explore.
Directions to Hike
From I-285 East
* Take exit 25, Roswell Road.
* Left, travel 7 miles, cross the river to the intersection of Roswell Road and Riverside Road.
* Right onto Riverside, cross Vickery Creek and make an immediate left for the unit.
From I-285 West
* Take exit 25, Roswell Road.
* Right, travel 7 miles, cross the river to the intersection of Roswell Road and Riverside Road.
* Right onto Riverside, cross Vickery Creek and make an immediate left for the unit.
From GA 400 North
* Take exit 6, Northridge Road.
* Right onto Northridge and go to the Roswell Road intersection.
* Right; travel 2 miles to the intersection of Roswell Road and Riverside Road.
* Right onto Riverside, cross Vickery Creek and make an immediate left to the unit.
From GA 400 South
* Take exit 6, Northridge Road.
* Left onto Northridge and go to the Roswell Road intersection.
* Right; travel 2 miles to the intersection of Roswell Road and Riverside Road.
* Right onto Riverside, cross Vickery Creek and make an immediate left to the unit.
